Weird Crap Painted on Cars

I like the graffiti explosion that has taken over our town. It started with law enforcement and Animal Rescue, but now every Tom, Dick, and law-abiding Harry has gotten in on the act, channeling their inner tagger, spray-painting political and personal gripes on anything that doesn't move.

And right now, there are a lot of cars that don't move.

  1. Yeah, things are heating up in the graffiti world. It was that you'd see "Don't open, Benson inside" on the fridges, but just last night in the genteel uptown area I saw a fridge with the words" Don't dump your f*@#^ing sh$t in front of my house." The fridges are getting...ah saucy.

  2. instead of "weird crap" painted on cars, this heading should run, "astute political commentary" painted on cars.

  3. Indeed. I've taken some other photos that really are just weird crap painted on cars, but those didn't make it into the final post.

  4. I would like to bring this vehicle to Schuyler, VA where it will be the focal piece of a new exhibit entitled "Art in Red-Neck Country"(modeled after Charlottesville's Art in Place exhibition). It will really annoy all my Republican neighbors!!

Isn´t it amazing how human´s need for communication is manifested on the surface of the city?
