Now how can an erster survive on top of a mountain?
Right near my hometown of Westerly RI, the fine oysters from Watch Hill are sought after. I haven't been able to get down there at the right time of year to meet up with my contact at the boatyards.
The Mohegan Indians of casino fame tried their hand at farming the prized oyster near Watch Hill, but failed.

Hi, I farm and own the federal trademarked watch hill oysters. We are a 7 acre farm and not involved with any indian tribes. Our oysters are available in the summer at my sons clam stand on sat. only located at 227 Shore rd. Westerly. It is called Toms clam stan.....and yes we have lots of cool stories to tell. Jeff
