recently learned that my grandfather who died in the holocaust worked as a doctor on a research project in the warsaw ghetto hospital, before being murdered in the gas chambers. the team of doctors worked under this motto. touched me. deeply. thought i would like it tatto-ed on me in remembrance. left forearm also appealed.
thanks for your blog, i have been reading it a while and really love it. your photos, stories, parenting style. inspiring.
i once had a dream where I had a rafflesia flower tattooed on the inside of my upper arm. In my dream it looked pretty nice. But in reality it is known as a "corpse flower" because of its lovely smell. I think maybe not.
the periodic table square of osmium on my left forearm. if i had one.

I will hold steady with my one memorial tatoo. Otherwise I would be bare.
ReplyDeleteI like writing, so probably "sic itur ad astra". It's sort of been a personal motto for me.
