  5. It's, um, shoot... Here's the deal. I really don't know what the hell we have growing in our yard. (Though I saved all the little plastic thingies so I can go back and figure it out when I'm so inclined.) We're total gardening newbies and just bought a bunch of stuff that we thought was pretty and stuck it in the ground. And through a happy confluence of climate and sunlight, it all just went crazy. (Actually, a few things got persnickety on us, but we neglected those, and they died off, and other happier plants filled the gap.)

    All that being said, I think it's not actually lavender. I think it's, um... something else that sort of looks like lavender. Which I have a little plastic thingy for somewhere...

  7. You are right. Every year I plant the red variety which I know as scarlet sage.
