Muses rolled last night — a pleasure as always, seeing the bands and the troupes line up, get revved up, get going. A few (blurry) photos:

Tractor repair. Every year, some tractor somewhere breaks down and holds up the whole parade. Fortunately this was before things got rolling, and no harm was done. (I love how basic these old machines are. Whatever metal rod that connect the gas pedal to the carburetor was slightly bent, so it was revving too high. Solution: straighten the rod.)
