Cute smile and everything, but I swear they used a Bumpit on my child. (Warning: That link plays the genuine as-seen-on-TV incredibly irritating ad, so think twice if you're at work.)
I fear you are too cool and trendy, Slimbo, I might need subtitles. Wat is bumpit? I'm still in the dark about blu-ray... anong many other things. I blame child-rearing, the first few years of which practically cut you off from the adult world. You could be good for my (re)education! X
I hadn't seen the commercial..I found out about bumpits from another blog I follow. And let me tell you something, that commercial is annoying. And the Bumpit? Not "incrediably comfortable" as the ad claims. It's a piece of plastic that tangles itself in ones hair with tiny hooks. Secure yes. Incrediably comfortable, no. But it's all worth it for Halloween!
But manicmum, don't you see that I've thoughtfully provided links (Bumpit) for the reference-challenged? And besides, I think you're off the hook on this one. I don't think you've been blessed with Bumpits on your side of the pond.
I thought Bumpit too! Only because I just read my sister's blog and se has been bumpinit lately...June looks lovely!

ReplyDeleteIs this a school picture? She looks like they were trying to turn her into a teeny bopper at the grand old age of five!!
ReplyDeleteThat commercial is horrible. And hilarious.
ReplyDeleteThey should borrow the chorus from that old Chris Rock fake SNL Nikey Turkey commercial. "Buhmp-it, bump it up, I said buhmp-it, bump it up!"
